Minster Compact Feed Line

Applications:
The Minster Compact Feed Line is designed for general purpose applications at speeds up to 120 strokes per minute at full pilot release, and feed lengths up to 30 inches. The Compact Feed Line consolidates the functions of a traditional three or four-piece coil line into a single machine. By condensing the material handling line and eliminating the need for a material U-loop, the compact feed line requires less overall line length.

A Minster exclusive, sophisticated control that automatically:
• Synchronizes feed speed to match the press rate and material demand.
• Synchronizes the reel payoff to match the line speed material demand.
• Measures the strip thickness, sets the initial work roll penetration settings and provides the ability to systematically fine-tune the settings, eliminating guess work.
• Measures the coil O.D. and automatically adjusts the work roll penetration, correcting for increased strip set as the coil depletes.
• Measures the strip thickness and work roll penetration, and sets feed and straightener pilot release heights.
• Tells the operator when the coils are loaded on the center of the mandrel when crane loading, or automatically loads the coils on-center when the coil car option is included.
• Alerts the operator to begin preparation for a coil change throughh an end-of-coil enunciator.
