Dynamic Compact Straightener/Reel
The Dynamic compact units are mounted on a common base so alignment and moving the unit is never a problem. Also, all the hoses and wires are channeled through the chassis of the machine so there is no chance for damage. The base includes provisions for anchoring to the floor.
Special items that customers like are the ability to hydraulically open the straightening head eight inches (200mm) for threading and cleaning.
There are 11 total rolls, nine straightening rolls and two pinch rolls. All the bottom rolls are driven through a gear train in grease well. These are in a bank adjustment head, like precision levelers, so no individual rolls need to be adjusted. This allows the rolls to be smaller and spaced closer together to achieve better flatness.
AC frequency drive for the straightener. Loop control by ultrasonic sensor modulates straightener drive speed.
Work roll depth indicated by digital gauges on the control panel and dial on the straightener head.
Two hydraulic motors control work roll depth settings and are regulated by potentiometers.
Heavy duty dual vertical stock guides on the entry side of the straightener.
With hydraulic reel rotation and expansion combined with hydraulic hold down arms and two-axis peelers as standard, the coil can be threaded safely via push button. All the customer has to do is cut the bands on the coil.
