Variable Frequency Drive

As a standard, the E2H utilizes a variable frequency drive (VFD) that is integrated with the PMC control panel. As compared to an eddy current drive motor, a VFD is quieter and provides higher performance throughout the press' full speed range, resulting in lower energy cost for the user. Integrating the VFD with the operator podium reduces the floor space requirements that are typically associated with VFD drives.
