Hydrostatic Gib Monitoring
This system will top stop the press if the gibs' clearance is closed-in due to a set up problem or other issue. The hydrostatice gib monitoring system is comprised of 12 pressure transduceres positioned in the lubrication circuit to sense the gib clearance on both the main and auxiliary gibs.
