
Minster Production Management Control (PMC)
Operation, Set-Up and Maintenance Training Programs
Course Overview:
The PMC Press Control program consists of classroom training in which Minster Machine’s training instructor presents course material consisting of the operation, set-up of a Minster PMC Press Control. Material covered is reinforced by actual hands-on operation of PMC control.
Students will receive a copy of the current PMC manuals. Additional hand outs are provided relating to specific topics, which are covered in class. All students are urged to take notes, participate in classroom discussions and bring up related issues.
This is a one-day program, starting with registration from 8-8:30 a.m. EST. The program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with lunch provided. Courses are kept small in class size, typically a maximum of 12 students, to provide an interactive learning atmosphere. Students are responsible for their own transportation, expenses and hotel. A certificate of completion will be mailed to the student for attending the course. Written student evaluations for the program are available.
Course Topics:
• Control functions and features of the PMC system.
• Control part identification and terminology.
• Changing control screens & understanding screen functions.
• Setting up control functions ( i.e.; counter’s, limit switch, load monitor, tool storage, die protection & etc)
• Reading and diagnosing global message screen faults.
• Hands-on operation of the PMC Control.
