MINSTER, OH – Nidec Minster Corporation Chief Executive Officer, David Winch, announced today the acquisition of leading high-speed feed innovator and manufacturer Vamco International, Inc. headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA.
“The addition of Vamco International to Nidec Minster continues to expand our product offering while also creating many new opportunities for continued growth,” said Winch. “More importantly, Vamco has a history of proven excellence, which directly parallels Minster’s philosophy, and will bring more than 70 years of innovation and business relationships to our worldwide operation.”
Founded in 1945, Vamco International has earned an unmatched reputation for delivering excellence in the design and manufacture of high-speed feed products for the metal stamping industry. The company employs more than 45 people globally, from two locations, who proudly manufacture equipment and service their customers in more than 30 countries.
“This acquisition provides Vamco and its customers a more competitive global footprint that can respond quickly and efficiently to their needs, as well as complementary products within the same parent brand,” Winch said. “Metal formers are continuing to be tasked with an increasing amount of challenges and need a partner who can provide multiple solutions at a consistent high quality level, while providing a streamlined and effective customer support relationship.”
Vamco Chief Executive Officer, Bryan Gentile, and his leadership team will continue to lead the product brand locally from Pittsburgh, PA, and manufacturing will also continue from this facility.
