Much of the NPA facilities growth has been targeted toward the expansion of remanufacturing capabilities.

With more than 120 years of manufacturing experience, NPA has been remanufacturing presses and press components for more than 70 years.

Construction is underway for a 25,000 sq. ft. addition to NPA’s dedicated service, repair parts, machining and remanufacturing facility at its world headquarters in Minster, Ohio.

The NPA Service Center in Queretaro, Mexico is expanding with a new facility that will not only increase its warehouse for common repair parts, but will also greatly increase capabilities for remanufacturing larger presses on site.

Nidec Arisa recently moved into a new $30 million production facility in Navarrete, Spain, while the manufacturing operations for Kyori presses in Pinghu, China is also undergoing a major expansion project.

The facility improvements in Spain and China will not only boost new press production, but will also provide the resources for remanufacturing all of the NPA machinery brands on location.

“NPA is investing in facilities and staff on a global basis to remanufacture presses and equipment for customers’ applications,” said NPA Vice President of Service Tim Fletcher. “Our global experts can remanufacture equipment that exactly meets application requirements for 40 to 70 percent of the cost of new equipment, and delivered with an industry-leading warranty.”

NPA remanufactures all makes of presses, specializing in technology upgrades, new controls and safety requirements. All NPA remanufactured presses carry a two-year warranty, while rebuilt components come with a one-year warranty.
