Conveyors
The Pax Low Profile Conveyor is designed for on-bolster, under-die part and scrap removal. The low profile design allows plenty of clearance for parts and scrap as they drop through the die and onto the belt. Belt edges are covered by flared sides of the pan, preventing scrap from working under the belt and assisting with guiding material on the belt.
The conveyor can also be equipped with a sensor that can stop the press should a stopped belt occur. This prevents or minimizes any damage to the die or conveyor that may be caused by a stopped belt. The Pax Drum Conveyor is designed for removing parts and scrap from dies. This low-maintenance conveyor utilizes a geared motor hermetically sealed inside a steel cylindrical tube. This technology eliminates the need for chains, sprockets and external motors.
Pax Conveyors are designed by tool and die craftsmen and are built to survive the harsh metal stamping environment.
