QUERÉTARO, MEXICO -- In a continuing effort to better service the material forming industry throughout the world, the Nidec Minster Corporation has opened a regional Customer Service Center in Querétaro, Mexico.
“This is an opportunity for us to be more responsive to a growing manufacturing base in Central Mexico and beyond,” said Steve Gruber, Vice President of Customer Service for Nidec Minster. “We have had field service personnel stationed and dispatched from Mexico for several years. The new service center in Querétaro will allow us to greatly expand our offering of timely customer service products to the region.”
Besides its corporate headquarters in Minster, Ohio, Nidec Minster also has regional service centers in Halblech, Germany and Ningbo China. Currently Minster service personnel are dispatched from 21 locations around the globe.
The Mexico Service Center currently offers locally inventoried common repair and replacement parts for expedited delivery to the region with all transactions processed in Pesos. In addition, technical support is available in either Spanish or English languages. Minster, Kyori, MMC, additional press brands and material handling equipment are supported from the Mexico Service Center.
Specialized maintenance, repair and installation tools are housed at the Querétaro facility to allow ready access for field service personnel in Mexico. Additional resources are currently being acquired to allow for component repair and rebuild operations at the Mexico Service Center, while future plans include the capability for complete press remanufacturing on site.
Sales support is also available at the Querétaro facility along with Nidec Minster’s sales office in Monterrey, Mexico.
